Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 per annum depending upon experience, 30 - 37.5 hours per week
Job Description

The Philanthropic Giving Co-ordinator is responsible for developing existing relationships and establishing new connections in order to secure high levels of income via charitable trusts, foundations and grant makers. Applications will cover a range of areas including core costs, specific hospice projects, equipment and service development. You will work as part of the Philanthropic Giving Team within the Fundraising Department at LOROS to research and identify appropriate funders whose criteria match the charity’s needs, prepare appropriate cases for support, submit compelling written bids and complex grant applications as appropriate, as well as provide project management skills to be able to accurately report on the use and impact of the funds received. The Philanthropic Giving Team will be the key to helping the charity grow its income in a sustainable way.

To be successful, you will have prior experience in trust fundraising, an understanding of trends in grant giving and excellent written skills. You will take pride in contributing to the delivery of life-changing services which will allow LOROS to continue delivering their high quality care to patients, their families and carers and ensure the organisation is fit for the future. The ideal candidate will be passionate, committed, organized and have excellent written skills, the ability to build a rapport quickly and be self-motivated and able to prioritise their own workload to meet deadlines.
